Dreams

Destined for greatness,
won't accept anything less
than her absolute best.
She'll try until there's nothing left

Every day she's up at one
for practice on figures and routines
Never late
legs always straight

Smiles through the pain
Swimming in sun, hail or rain
There's nothing she won't do
to make her dreams come true

We always rejoice and cheer winners at any sport .What we do not do is praise their dedication it takes to get to the top.And yes swimming in hail storms may well be part of their required training schedule. Anyone can train when the sun shines on your back.
A fine write and an enjoyable read Well done

Swimming is perhaps not my greatest interest in life. In fact it's probably about #600, just behind having a heart attack. However, seriously I am puzzled as to why a group of people would want to swim in a hailstorm.

I used the line "Swimming in sun, hail or rain" as an over exaggeration, most people would never even think about swimming in the hail.

I just wanted the dedication to the sport to be obvious.
