Missing Message

My lost foundation
Of a million years ago
Started to rise again,
Against the icy snow.

A lost world, just like
Atlantis, came back
To life from the depths
Of a mystery so black.

No one could tell that's
Where I grew
Up into a woman
They all knew.

They never decided
Where to go first
Because the truth
Became the lies at birth.

They were confused,
Lost, and all so
Weary from their
Travels and show.

They decided to let me
Be alone in my room
Of silver and black.
There I faced my doom.

They sent me away
While I was still asleep.
What a frustration
Within my own keep.

My nightmares were crawling
About my heart and soul.
They wanted me to leave so
They could control.

The men outside studied me
From behind a glass.
They all saw through this
Disguise of brass.

But there's a missing message
Stuck from long ago.
From a million years before,
Long before the snow.
