Yonder way, the storm it breaks,
under your strength I'll forever sleep.
Raining, storming, lightening strikes,
but in your arms I'll sleep tonight.
Your touch, your kiss, the bliss it brings:
This no man shall ever judge.
Though water pours from the skies,
the umbrella of your love shall always hold me tight.
Testify, dear love,
of our compromise through the years;
your ways, my ways,
the ways of the world and heaven above.
Testify, dear love,
of the war between us and everyone.
Testify, sweet heart,
of the never-ending battle
for us to stay together.
Testify, humble man,
that when all is said and done,
when our world and theirs turn to dust,
our bond will never fail.
Testify, dear warrior,
of the juggle between us,
our child,
and the glaring eyes of those around us.
Testify, dear husband,
that we no longer care about them.
Author notes
I used: compromise, dust, humble, juggle, never, testify, umbrella, water, war, and yonder.

Wow, the man is the priest of our household, as we honor the proverbs 31 wife, this is a wonderful idea to write about the love God allowed you to have for your husband! Excellent, just beautiful. Thanks for entering. Blessings.
