Old Friend

Sometimes...
I  find myself reliving a memory
of You  and Me
The lackadaisical, chill of what used  to  be
The way your Cool complemented my Funny
and how much  we accomplished while doing nothing
It makes me blush when I  think  of you still reading my poetry
Like I'm undressing, with you watching...unknowingly
I used to wish you were just hiding
behind a nearby tree
As I dance naked, slowly
with my suggestive  writing,
Using my pen to entice you  back to  me.....

Then, I realize maybe it just wasn't meant to be.

Whatcha think?

    whispered passion

seeps through that pen of yours... provocative in its power to make a reader such as I feel your words waft through my own recall of passions past. Great presentation

Lovely poem it reads so magically
of times in the past, and what I assume was your muse.
loved the lines"With my suggestive writing,
using my pen to entice you back to me "
