The Trial

I wake up
slowly I make my way
to the judge
ashamed at what I've done

Then I see him
filled with evil
I HATE him
he shows the judge parts of my life
scenes I wish I could forget
I begin to bawl
tears ruch down my face

These were scenes
that weren't meant
for him to ever see

I look at the judge
he has a sorriful look on his face

The scenes finally end
the judge looks me in the eye
I can feel him look inside me
at the wretched things I've done
the things so carefully meant for him
or anyone else
to ever see

Then out of the corner of
my eye
I see another man
with scars on his wrists
and ankles
he approaches the judge
and pulls him aside

They converse for a moment
and then the judge comes back and says to me:
"My child
he has already set you free
look at this clip of the day you died
and surrendered yourself to me
because of that you are now eternally free"
