There is nothing more that you can do,
To make me feel pain, to make me scared of you.
So now I realise that I should not fear,
And I should cry away my last tear.
My last tear on you for all you did to me.
It is time I took my soul and let it be free,
From nightmares, the memories, the pain so deep.
For they have been spoken and are no longer mine to keep.
So now I am focused on removing the stain,
That you put in my soul, that kept me chained in my pain.
For you no longer control me, you no longer have the key,
To make me do what you want, for I am breaking free.

these are my favorite words and lines in the poem, i think they are the strongest too.
perhaps a different even stronger word would work well instead of using "put" perhaps tarnished, ebbed, placed maybe? i just feel the word "put" is weak and the lines in question are fantasically emotional, well thats just my opinion anyway lol
