Turbulent Vista ...

Moonshine beaming
Fortune dreaming
Old times streaming
Gathers my glance

Sunlit highway
Rural byway
Free-life flyway
Win, Show, or Chance!

so many ways to see the world around us, we sense, we imagine, wish, hope even pray and in all these ways we see ourselves and things around us through the filter of our thoughts... wonderful end rhyme...kinda bounces along......Pk

I know i read this a couple of days ago, Why did i not comment? sometimes it is the use of the minimum of words that manage to say far more. This is such an example
    Wonderful
    Good luck in the contest

    Another road trip
    on the free-for-all path
    called life, with joy
    throwing the dice,
    always up for another
    chance---or so it seems,
    joy. A spirited write!

I won't pretend to really get this one, but as you know, I always take a stab at it.

I assume it deals with memories of life in a region. maybe how things were, if not in reality than in how they saw themselves...and see ourselves...or as we say here, "Maine, the way life ought to be."

    Or;

It's like a little trip down the highway, seeing the old and new of where you live mixing in together.

Ok, how far off was I? lol
