Underneath the Bubblegum Moon

Missing image
I  imagined you laughing as we sat on the grass;
in the late summer afternoon,
We're making dandelion chains
&&
Watching the butterfly float on the soft summer breeze

We sit
  and
chat as the afternoon fades

As the sun slowly moves away,
We're busy bonding over wine and feeling a friendship deepen

&&
I watch as you leave...
I see the purple horizon fade to black

Now;
As the stars dance in the sky
to
their own private jukebox of dreams

I'm having Visions with kaleidoscope scenes
  So
We're Dancing
surrounded by;
Vivid pinks
mixed with
Bright Yellow
With random splashes
of
Soft Pastel Greens

Suddenly I'm upside down
&&
looking around
  Only,
I can't see you
Seems the haze is stuck on Blue
but
Still I dream of falling in love
Underneath
the
Bubblegum Moon

    Such a cotton candy dream....sweet, and bad for your heart
    But still a great write, full of serene, warm allusions, and an underling hint of lament to a refused reality.
