Whine of rain

Rainy days fill my cup with melancholy
I drink to that.

One could make a necklace with all these pearls falling from sky,
It’d be an accessory I’d use with my pain
They’re both blue and match.

Rainy days slip through the calendar like they never really happened
No one can do much in such days without having their souls soaked
It makes all so heavy inside.

Air is wet
Slowly it fills my lungs with watery tears
Heaven cries.

Please tell me what you think

"Rainy days fill my cup with melancholy
I drink to that" I loved that line.

I know it's not YOUR fault but this is the THIRD depressing poem I have read in a row! Technically I think the punctuation needs a bit of a think through, especially in the final paragraph. Here's a clappy thing to cheer you up. Or you could always read one of my latest poems to realise there are even more depressed people about the place!
