To understand you
To support you

I tried

To forgive you
To comfort you
To reassure you

I tried, and tried and tried

To justify you

Such an intricate web of
Confusing emotions
Spun with fools gold
And harvested pearls

I tried

But, once again
My heart feels painfull
And my chest physically
Hurts

It's my fault
