skips and winds
while i accelerate down the eternal bend
almost aimless, but veering slightly
with a fist grip
urging to choke away
some desire, remnants from which
i turn, always turn
to ignore their weathered echoes
looming overhead
and inevitably
but half-willingly
i'll reach cross to readjust antennae
only to conjure up
closet ghosts past exorcised
cackling in self-cremations
off guard and binged senseless
by crumpled parking tickets
stuck in cup-holder gunk pits
then skies take me
(or is it mine)
to ribbons deflowered
strewn across their face
etched in a graying blush
pink fog ear to ear
always reminds me of
the nosebleeds which always follow.
parked near a chain-fence lattice
its barbed and uncompromising grin
furious like the wolves
i would dream of unleashing one day,
i recognize in other horizons
the existence of less empty passenger seats
and brighter imaginations
with which to share the silence
for now,
i bring myself back
to hours of backyard swimming pools
my heart constructed moats
when with a mouth full of chlorine
i practiced the dead man's float

My thoughts are sentiment of those below. I know the feeling you are expressing here although maybe not in the same regard. Very nice use of language and you connect it so well. Sometimes we have things inside of us that are wanting to come out so bad that it just flows like a river--this poem you have written here so skillfully reminds me of one of those moments. It's a moment to be treasured that you can pen your feelings so eloquently however painful it must be to write the words.
Kind Regards,
Josh

I ve seen the freewrite where it says to do a stream of words and to make a poem out of it soooo this is just the way it should be and Im happy to read it and even happier to comment that having such a good imagination or use of such good language is a blessing and Im going to look at even more now you have me very curious about the rest lol
