Fathers big and furry,
tail going whack,
Mothers rolling madly,
spikes all down her back.
Brother's crawling all over,
scratching on the floor,
Sister's webs going crazy,
sticking up the door.
Grandma's in her straight jacket,
lazy eye going mad,
Grandpa's in his chair clad in his plaid skin,
rather solemn yet not sad.
Aunt sue is on the loo,
explosive grunts ring out,
Uncle Paul's on the wall,
he's sure to fall no doubt.
Lucy is a human,
I hold her on a leash,
calmly breathing in and out,
chattering her teeth.
Sitting on the floor with Lucy,
now chewing on her toy,
I look at my crazy family,
And think "oh what a joy."
