Anger Wins Again

Lost are the smiles
wasted on you are they
the anguish that you bring
at even the slightest light of day!

You can dish it out
but you can't take it back
the hint of a joke
the realization of what you lack!

A liar, and idiot
a minuscule fight
even a thought brings fire
no energy or light!

Please tell me what you think

    an interesting piece..very true..

i found the following lines very meaningful..

    "You can dish it out
but you can't take it back
    the hint of a joke
the realization of what you lack!"

    very well written.

This poem is true for so many people I know. Always willing to dish out the punches but never seem ready to take a blow themselves. Nice write.
