Love dont fail me now

As I think of what I call love
I say that this is obnoxious
For my life is blank with unspoken words
for this child that is me is forsaken
for they do not see the tiny angel
that's always hiding within me

So everyday as I go into the worlds
of peoples thoughts I see a darkness
or is it light growing within them
Anyways they are following the
way they want to go, but what about
me, because I feel as the light is not
their yet and so I'm lost on what to do

So as I walk in the rain on dark nights
I think of myself and what have I done to
help this world, and what can I do now to
help because I've realized that I'm all alone
with no one to take my hand...
Except the lord which calls to me everyday,
and so everyday I will follow the lord
because I know he loves me, and that
as a child of god he will protect because
he knows that I will always love him back
