Is there a line from your eyes to mine?
Because it seemed on me they were frozen,
Just for a second but hope stretches time,
And for that second I was chosen,
All day you seemed lost but that gaze was sure,
A gaze I've longed to feel warm me before,
Is there a line from my heart to yours?
Because it seems mine's all tangled up in you,
When it beats it's in time with your flaws,
When I see you the line tugs as if new,
It's my own fault for making the line strong,
For yearning and caring and loving so long,
Do our lives run in parallel?
Whatever I think with you my thoughts rest,
I've been trying but it's so hard not to dwell,
Devoid of desire you remain unimpressed,
Do our lives run in parallel?
Or am I just following, waiting to tell?
