I push forward,
Through thickly-wooded forests,
Through brambles and underbrush,
Through heat-stricken deserts
I press on towards,
Starvation and misery,
Poverty and oppression,
Corruption and greed
I explore,
The depths of mental consciousness,
The heights of awareness,
The creases of time
I chase a feeling,
That carries me between the stars,
Up and down continents,
Around every forbidden corner
I dream the dreams that part the skies,
I walk the path, trodden by few
The remnants that remain
Bear seldom clues
As to why,
As to what
I am truly searching for.
