A Day Begets Another Day
A day begets another day
An hour begets an hour
The moments pass us by in haste
But for a budding flower
In silence does the rose unfold
Its petals to the sun
And lives a moment warmly lived
Before the day is done
Each moment takes a hasty leave
As seasons travel on
Then let us live and let us love
Before the moment’s gone
Please tell me what you think

I am very impressed; you capture the quality and essense of poetry I would like to write.....the timing and telling is perfrect and with beautiful delivery, your concept is deftly woven into the charm and simplicity of the soft spoken word that moves me within the elements of "day" and the seasons of my life.
