Poem A

I can remember,
Not c learly but not vaugely either,
The hero you once were to me.
An imposing six foot something to my two foot something.
Lifting me up on your shoulders, i could touch the ceiling.
But when she left (no,i don't know why either)
Or maybe when i came (no, i don't know why either)
The bottle turned into a catalyst for your change.
And she and i, that woman who left,
Had to bunker up with each other and endure your personal torture.
How i wish i could help.
There's nothing i would want more.
But i cannot.
I tried to be your catalyst for change, but you (subconciously, i like to think) rejected me.
And i have finally realised that i can only c ling to the mast until your waves subside.
And when they do, i'll have rec laimed the person i once knew.

Hey hey hey! Criticism is apreciated!

    Welcome to AllPoetry

This is quite powerful, you express a deep sense of uncertainity, desire to help, and rejection poetically on the page breaking my heart slowly

Poetically I'd recommend being careful with spacing, after each 'c' there is a space between the rest of the word(?) which I've never seen before and am unsure if this is a purpose thing or something the computer did(?)

I hope you enjoy AllPoetry and continue to share your words with us

    Stay safe
