I’m unhinged and hungry, ravenous for heart.
But by and by
I knew I’d feel
the slight shading that a worth provides.
Color me smitten, stars, don’t take this from me.
You were a stranger, amongst stranger, amongst stranger.
I saw you shimmering, heard you humming.
I pretended not to see you.
Your voice called out in invitation to mine.
I shared stories not meant
for publication.
Slipped out.
I don’t know
but how oh how
you exposed a lowly lady’s soul,
Insulted and injured, sickened and scared.
So bitter, and so, so vulnerable.
But all the colors bled through
Something edited.
I don’t quite understand, but color me intrigued.
So sweet sweet stars, don’t take this from me.
For every day and it’s next, let me venture with you.
You, no longer a stranger. So you, at my door.
You shimmering, you humming.
Can’t find meaning,
But I know I’m grateful.

The stars cannot take what they do not have. The beauty devine. Only through eyes can it be seen and what I see is pure perfection. Love you Samathy. Thank you so much for your encouraging words and always being there for me. I appreciate it loads.
