I am married to a March baby and one of our sons was born in March. I,myself am a goat according to astrology, having been born in December. The picture here is so innocent and makes me realize how fragile life really is. Mothers can either be our love and guidance throughtout our lives, or they can be so lost in themselves that they never bond. Having had my mother walk out on our family for 10 years without a word was difficult for me. I have always respected the gift given me as a mother myself and I will always be there for my children, and my two beautiful grand daughtersas well! Life is too short not to.Somehow your Haiku brought this comment to me. Thanks for writing it.

I am a March baby, a Poisson, and a rat: according to astrology and chinese culture. Guess I should try to make it more clearer in the poem then, March flowers of the season just doen't cut it and I have a problem with the word 'season' because its redundant when mentioned in the same sentence as March, but my brain is still dead from that epic of a poem that I wrote.
PS: Tina thanks for al the comments and suggestions, I will get to you asap and see what you have hidden, though Imanaged to read 2 so far, will get to others eventually.

I love that picture. And the haiku is beautiful. I got pregnant in March, and though it was unexpected, it was an absolute miracle and I was beyond thrilled.
So is March the month you were born or when your mother got pregnant, which would make you a Decemeber baby ?

I do not think my birth was a blessed event. Heck, my life wasn't a blessed event. Sorry, I have a bad habit of rambling. Oh, I got the same picture on Signed Tommy go figure. Good Luck in the contest. Doesn't know anything about haikus
