I thought that it was worked out,
even though I had my doubts.
And everytime I talk to you,
I remember you said "We're through"

it only took just that time.

So now it's done and gone,
yet I still wonder who won.

sometimes just your name...
a sadness feels inside.
Because I know this is no more.

as I'm listening to our song.
And I remember we'd sing along,
back when we were strong.
Now I'm sitting here all alone,
finally saying goodbye to you.

I realize I was just a decoy,

So yeah...written as a song in my head. Transferred to this. I know it's not the greatest, but it was something that had been eating at me for awhile. And though it might seem like it, it's not about a breakup. It's about loosing one of my best friends.
