Does It Matter that I Miss You?

Thought this would never begin because you, well, you know how you can be and me, well I know you don't know how I can be, but, it started out mutual, Both of us acting reserved and polished, especially you, lol, then turned into something we only can describe. Or can we?
All I know is I think of you constantly when I hear you and even when I don't. Makes me wonder many days, do you ever sometimes just a little think of me? If you don't, that's okay too cause I know you're busy and stuff and I'm probably the last person on your mind, but hidden under all the daily goings and tendings, I still wish it was.
It's like now, my thoughts are on you and hoping you're well even though in the back of my mind, I know somewhere, somehow you'd like to talk just for a little while. Would you like that?
We've taught each other so much in our old age, lol. At least I would like to think so.
Anyway, you will probably be too busy or get too bored to give me a second thought. Who am I kidding? You are popular and I'm just a....
You know what? If the future goes like we both know it will go
I'll see you on the other side.

I love you.

Please tell me what you think

Losing a love is a tremendous loss. The heart is broken, feeling like a zombie, life is useless to many. When I thought I lost my wife for good because I would not make the comittment there was no life. I traveled far to get her back best thing I ever did in our lives. Life will be better when you are stronger. Very sad to hear that you are going through this Rita. Good luck.

Brian thanks for reading my poem. Sensitivity in your comment is well noted and appreciated, but this is only a poem that was brought forth after reading one of my many books I enjoy. It's good to hear all is finally well with your family.
