The Atlantic And Its Warlord.

The bright, white full moon
shines down on the
glistening Atlantic as
water sprays over the port.

[CHORUS]
Looking over the port, yonder -
a deep dark ocean lays beneath
the cold, silver steel hull that
splashes and plunges into
forthcoming waves.

The main mast stands
proud at 164ft looming
over the depths of the
cold, dark Atlantic.

With a main battery of
eight 15inch guns mounted
in four twin turrets
she was unstoppable.
Nothing was to ever defeat
this titan of the Atlantic.

The sea wind brushes past
the working sailors as
the rough seas crash
up against the solid, steel hull.

This giant made from steel
truely did rule the Atlantic sea.
Forever sunk and left in her
resting place, but never forgotten.

My apologies to anyone who may be offended by this. However, I think that the Bismarck was a remarkable ship because of its size etc. Simply a beast to look at.

Anyway, I think this should be just read as a memorial to all involved, not only in the Battle of the Atlantic, but the whole of World War 2.

In the chorus, in the 2nd line, I think that "lays" would make more sense. Or maybe "lies." It just needs to be plural.
This is beautiful :] Since your 1st write, you have stuck with writing lyrics, which is good to see. You've improved SO much at it; your other entry was much more simple. This one is more complex and detailed.
Thanks for entering, & good luck
