A beautiful little pup named Petra
Came our way, losing her master
The children screaming with delight
Knowing the pup was in a grave disaster.
Petra is only 10 weeks old
Fluffy as a snowball
Shivering from the outer cold
Children covering her with mother's shaw.
She sleeps all day and up at night
Wanting to play
Filling the children's delight
As the kids are tucked away
Mom and I become her knight.
Silly as it may be
Petra brings us happiness each night.

The children argue who is doing this and that for Petra. Now we have a list of things they each do. We found this was the best for the family. Petra is a delight.
