Dependance

Palatial eyes have my back
and arms become appendage to
this crippling climb;
hoisted, I am in restless sorrow
but sure ... ever so sure of
the Adonis who saved my
life, the candle burning in
my soul,  a visible wind
that pulls me into more
of His enabling love.

    Ah, such reverence, and utter abandonment to He who your soul loves and has delivered you to fufill your destiny with Him in mind...Such a write! Magnificent!

    I never experienced someone else holding me up

    I long for a partner,I will not give up. Ever. I cant say Im happy for you. I am not cut from the cloth of selflessness.

      What a beautiful and honest reply! Selflessness is not from my fabric,
      but the robe of the King.

    Our first, best love. Once, when the world was new, His love was part of a one to one relationship . . . we could touch our Creator. That hole, that emptiness that never seems to be filled, even when the world is at our hands and we are loved by all, that is our vague awareness of what we now miss. Miss it we will until we return to the arms of our Creator and we will at once be content and at peace. Until then, we have only the dimmest view of that kind of love . . . not that I'm knocking this life . . . it has it's moments. But, that next one will have us wondering how we got through this one. There, the candle in your soul will be the light of a million suns.

    This is an inspiration. Beautifully written and so full of meaning. Thought provoking as well as my lengthy comment suggests. Always your work is a delight.
