Little angel is starting full time school, today
she has to wake up early and not to delay
New teacher, new friends in a new environment
Wisdom will welcome her with the rightful intent.
The education will set her on the right road
Discipline will tweak her to the best code
Listening to the oration with full concentration
Helps immensely to build a strong foundation.
Reading, writing and calculating sums
These are the parts of primary curriculum
It’s nice to turn back and see the history too
It’s fun to learn; why grass is green and sky's blue.
A stroke of brush fills the canvas with delight
let the imagination fly higher than a kite
Glide your vision through planets and mars,
Spectacular galaxies and soulless stars.
Often strum a string; music calms commotion
Discover mellow tunes from the vast ocean
Have fun and spread goodness among friends
Don’t indulge in an argument, it never ends.
Munch your bruch at lunch break
Savour sandwich and favourite cake.
This is the part of journey we must go through
We wish you very good luck on your debut.

Now Deey is 5 and a half yrs of age...
In USA they call it Kindergarten where as in UK it's called Infant School...
She loves reading, the art and music are her favourites too...
Tom and Jerry is her favourite programme.

what an adorable poem! i agree that in some parts, the rhyming was a little forced, but overall a good poem.

thats so sweet...the rhyming scheme was good,though at some places it seemed forced...
but overall a really emotional write,a beautiful dedication from grandpa to his lil angel...
