Critique

Who’s afraid of a little bad verse?
And if of course, the verse were a little worse
than you might expect, you being obligated to reply
with a critique, or at least an honest appraisal of another's sensibility.
Have they lost themselves in an utterly existential first-person experience ?
Will they say something about themselves that you haven’t understood
already by premonition or intuition ? Are they lost themselves
and in need of just one perfect piece of advice to carry them through
the completely mundane moments of happiness they’ve overlooked ?

Please tell me what you think

I plan to revise this poem: please leave constructive criticism!

All poetry is self indulgence...we could all rely on what everyone would relate to...but it's better to target your audience by writing instantaneous emotions and reflections from your psyche. They'll catch up...but yeah, you'll probably be dead.
