James Walker -
“If you're there before it's over, you're on time.”
Prospecting and probing I persist…
Scouring for the interpretation
To this ever evasive entity…
Enlightenment….
Aboriginal in caliber comes
Perspicacity…
What does enlightenment
Look like in a dream?
One must give her a name…
Don her in clothing…
Smell her scent
Blowing upon breezes…
And when enlightenment touches her…
One must know her caress
Above and beyond any other
That may…
Or may not touch her.
One must unseal the ears…
That they may take in the
Phlegmatic resonance of her voice…
Study Enlightenment
In the conscious
And subconscious hours…
When lids of eyes
Cover retinas nocturnally
Let visions of she dance before thee…
That when the day comes
That Enlightenment breaths upon you…
When she places her lips upon your spirit
And sibilates sage-like wisdom…
When her fingers fondle your soul…
You will be intimately…
enlightened…
You will know…
For this…
Is she…
Enlightenment…
Prospecting and probing I persist…
Scouring for the interpretation
To this ever evasive entity…
Enlightenment….
And I know
As long as I find her
Before my conclusive wheeze
Expels from this frame…
I will have arrived
According to divinity.
