I lost what once blurred my vision.
i saw her swimming in the distance.
Her body glistened by the sun.
Reflection dancing on the waves
i saught to see what shocked my
rays of focus on the sea.
A beautiful mermaid is what i see.
i swam as fast as lightning in the sky.
oh can it be? Oh could it be?
This ocean playing tricks on me?
A mere illusion of the mind?
For heart's desires are minds playful liars.
I fought the sea in hope that i could meet
the lie my mind had played on me.
And now i sit on sparkling earth,
starring at the candy sky
like childs play i wish to be
the seagull drifting above the sea.
i wish to be the sandy crab or even
the dolphin splashing on her ocean land.
But in these dreams i am alone
wishing for her love once more.
Starring at the endless sea
wishing dreaming that we'd still be
the ocean kissing on the sand or
even the couple strolling hand in hand.
Dreams are wishes of the heart and
lies to play on lonely minds.
I sit alone in the sand still longing
that we were hand in hand.
no more brain cramps :D
