I saw something in you
But he saw so much in me
Now my brain's as twisted as a screw
And it's buzzing like a bee
I'm not blaming you
For what I'm going through
I've never been so ashamed
To say that I'm the one to blame
(Chorus)
No, this was not a joke
You are here and now
You're ripping out our pages
You were never supposed to come
I had everything right
But now I'm so numb
I'm loosing my sight
You were never supposed to show
And make me second guess
What was decided long ago
My answer was always yes
A mountains become a plateau
My mind is coming to an all time low
I've never been so ashamed
To say that I'm the one to blame
(Chorus)
You will never see
How hard it is to believe
In someone with too much
Self esteem
When you could be in the arms
Of your dreams
(Chorus)
Is the rhyming too much? what sounds cheesy?

Welcome to AllPoetry!!!
What a wonderful song in the works, with so much emotions spilling from each line! One thing I would change, in the line that starts a mountains become a plateau, I would change to A mountain becomes a plateau, it reads better to me that way.
Welcome to AllPoetry! I hope you are having fun on this site!
Blessed Be,
