Mistah and Missus

Missing image

O' sweet thang how I luv ya so

we's gone git married don't ya know,

yep, today yore gone be my bride

heads a buzzin puffed up with pride.

I jes can't wait til we get hitched

no worries bout a gettin ditched,

gone run nekked in them thar woods

dat way I kin admire yore goods.

Gone eat possum and drink sum shine

kin hardly believe yore all mine,

down to the crick we catch some fish

so's ya kin fix a tastee dish.

Like duck tape ya dun fixed me up

ya's jes cuter'n a speckled pup,

fir ever after we's gone be

mistah and missus hillbilly.

Lol.... thanks... born and raised in the hills of carolina. This kind of language is typical further north you go. Lol Can you believe it? People actually talk like this. I have a southern drawl, but a little more educated than this example. (Not that there's anything wrong with those who do actually speak this way.) Lol ...

      Say whut?

We do not have hillbillies over here but i am sure we have something similar.
I had no problem with reading it despite the dialect An enjoyable read Good luck in the contest

Not to mention the horrible spelling! Lol... this one was fun as I was raised near the mountains in the Carolinas and this is really the way the "Hill folk" up yonder speak more often than not... Thanks for stopping by~
