How long is a piece of string; twice the middle on both sides. Clever.
How long is hope; as long as the grains of sand trickle until inevitable death. Never.
I am a liar. Hope does not die. I have tried to kill it. Yet it lives on.
Pessism is my idenity and so I wish for hope to end. Why does this string extend forever more?
Reality is harsh but accepting it ends pain. Optimism and delusions shatter, and you're left with the core.
Crushed, rose len glasses cut deep. They slash your eyes. Bleeding with pain.
Broken dreams cry. Why? Broken dreams leave broken glass. It is in vain.
Cut apart that furled rope; how tested has my hope become? Stressed...
Despite the sharpest, piercing tongue and eyes. Hope will not go away.
Receiving constant abuse, sometimes just to see if it will snap. I am depressed.
After countless tests, some unwilling.. I am broken, yet hope is strong. I can only pray.
That life is short and weak. Close. Envelop me.

hmm needs stanzas.
lol.thats all I see that should be done.
It makes it prettier on the screen and easy to focus on while reading it.
thanks for entering.
good luck -
never lose hope!
This is a pessimistic view onthe inevitability of hope. Nice angle. but it is more prose like than poetry.
How long is a piece of string; twice the middle on both sides.
