The queen of heart.

.

The queen of heart
immobile has a smile.

She salutes dances
with her life, so agile
on tight rope desire.

Music evaporates
under projectors' light
each note swallowed
by a mime.

Under the big roof
fiddlers wipe off
their forehead
and fingers strike a cord.

She spins in tune
with world circus
so fragile with her smile
she does a split
and slips...

falls down in the arms
of her acrobat lover
who lets go of his grip...

they plummet from
an amethyst trapeze
cling to each other
in bright purple air

they are not in a hurry
to reach the ground
to meet with morning
headlines.

This was the show of their life
now they seem to
hang together
in the sky for ever.

Everyone can see
they are not in a hurry to die.

There is some lovely imagery here and it matches well with the prompt you used but I am after something a little more directly scary I think, thanks for the enjoyable read and the entry though.
