Divine Intervention (My Life For Yours Saga XI)

"He has done what?" Asked the Creator of all things.
The guardians of the victims relayed the tale.
Something had to be done, to curb this new twist
Death controlling life and death?
It was not his job to decide who lived and who died
It was not his job to decide to give and to take
He was Death, and he was to collect when summoned.
He was not to make deals, he was not to give time.
The previous Death did the same thing before
And he was stripped, and thus this new Death was crowned.
Maybe that shall be what must happen again
Or maybe something different, something more stringent.
"Go, and tell Death to stop this accursed course
That he has decided to take upon himself."

The angels nodded, and away they went
To go unto Death, and tell him of this message.
The angels flew fast, flew hard, and flew strong
Arriving as quickly as their wings would carry
To relay this message from He, the Most High
And hope that Death will obey this new missive.
If not, the angels feared what would happen to all
For wrath from He is not something to endure
As He has said many a time, and many a times He'll say more
"I created, and I can destroy all that I have made."
But Death was different from any being before,
He was not Lucifer, that morning star turned maker of evil
He was not fallen angels, he was an entity of himself,
And maybe a new war would come of this deed.
For the Creator of all may not be Creator of Death,
For Death was made from both good and evil,
And so what was to come, no one truly knew,
And all feared and trembled of what would ensue.

Author notes

No rhyme, just a freewrite, my first in ages. Divine Intervention, or will it be? What will happen when Death receives this message? What will be?

The objective of this poem was to make it a freewrite, just to hint at what may come, not what would come. Each line is to be read fast and strong.

The Creator fights for his beings, whether known, or unknown in this saga. So it was only a matter of time before He stepped in and said something. And My Life, For Yours is what it's about, but whose life? Someone must give their life or sacrifice their life, rather it be a life on earth, or their life in the hereafter.

and i see we get the Creator's, God's, perception. It's interesting how you protrayed him here, as a creator who could destroy just as easily. although he didn't create death, leaving a feeling of intrigue as to what will happen next.
to me there are two perception that i could give to God. one, that he is merciful, that he loves and that he forgives. The other is that he is to be feared for his wrath and mightyness, his superiority as a creator.
    an interesting read.
