A Pleasant Nightmare

Crystals shall break this axis
Earthdiamond
The King stands by
watching, laughing, satisfied
but cannot see the future
Overgrown, overblown, lost
as a lonely sparrow
cries for vengeance

Glimmering moments of bliss
Snow white hands journeyed so far
but I cannot see them dying
We cannot see the sun
shall we see another day?

Shimmering glow
Orbital distortion
What I need
to break the cycle
of time and space
A broken trap
Through crippling infernos
My eyes can no longer lie

I remember when the jewel-eyed godess
promised she would break the night and the day
She dances duality in a reflecting crystal pool
Through rejuvinating glaciers
I am free of earthly senses at last

We bear witness to the final sunrise
knowing half my mind is eternally cursed
A child is born lord of the saints
But his miracles never worked
leaving only death where he was meant to bring life
Asleep, afraid to return to this pleasant nightmare
But living in faith, I fear the lies no longer
Open or closed, dark or light, this is my home
This new Earth, a Wellspring of Eternal Love

Through the glass
shining rainbows resonate through space
Soundly, it does not live
just pretend it's profound
Listen to it, though it never speaks
Tears inside stain an altered dimension
Chaos disappates the color of night

An image of summer shows sleepless eyes
longing to close a book of superfluous words

A never-ending spiral interrupted
When the beginning is destroyed
but here stands a king
watching, but no longer understands
as he feels bound to this new planet
After falling so much, he now dreams he has wings
Through a constant change, he finally hears what was true all along
An image of summer shows sleepless eyes
longing to close a book of superfluous words
In our dream, she turns back space and time
as all minds and souls at last live in harmony
