Chris & Gregg

Missing image
by J. P. Davies

One to guide
One to cheer

They are poetic family,
through their words,
by their strengths,
they make me better.

If unknowing,
here's a note:

You make my days,
by staying true.
By being here,
just being you.

I want to thank,
these special two.
When the world's gone bad,
you'll help me through.

03/28/2004

Author's Note: Gregg Rowe and Chris Sorrenti you have both helped me grow so much as both a poet and a person. Your words get me through tough times and I just want to say thanks!!

Author notes

The picture I stole off Proverbial's library.  I encourage you to take a peek into this fine young poet's writings, he juxtaposes the most amazing images and lines together.  (I still want to adopt you JP.)

I feel honoured to be standing next to a collegue whose works I respect and special that someone feels they have been mentored by me, being a mentor without trying to be mentor is a great gift to pass on.
