She was my watershed
Ever-deepening with soul so rich and succulent
Heart enough to contain all that i felt for her
On dreary days, I'd hide myself beneath her jaw
As she murmured words unheard, unsaid
Some ethereal tongue that lulled my corpse into a sickeningly heavy slumber
Any speech of mine faded toward oblivion in her presence
My Ephraim
How insignificant you make me seem
I salivate through shallow inhalations
Witness to your gilded bones
