Skipping lightly across the blossoms
Exquisitely set gems in floral fare
Low hum of bumbled bee
Joins in songbird serenade
As crickets chirp in rhythm
Gentle winds of summer breeze
Caress our cheeks, stroking
Face with wisps of hair
Clouds dance in slow formation
Billowed skirts of heaven's
Cotton candy mist
Sunshine goblets glint and sparkle
Drawing us to drink
Of summer's nectar

I love,
"Low hum of bumbled bee
Joins in songbird serenade
As crickets chirp in rhythm"but I am not sure one hears their drone with the crickets are "cricken". Crickets, those lucky little things dad and I used to catch to fishin'.
"Sunshine goblets glint and sparkle
Drawing us to drink
Of summer's nectar"Inebriated, under the influence of this penned Pinot Noir.

Interesting
Interesting rhythm to it. I liked the line "Joins in songbird serenade" It was a very eye-capturing piece. Also thanks so much for being one of the few that I did not have to instruct on the directions in all caps lock. -
Thanks for entering my contest. I loved the discription in this, it definitely made me think of summer. well done. good luck in the contest!
