Like so much ice caught in the embrace of newborn springtime warmth
Anger melts slowly, blame nothing more than wisps of smoke rising from a dying candle
Dust and spider infested cobwebs will conceal the past, beneath the shadows of hate and hurt lay everything important.
His laughter like invisible kisses upon a scabbed heart, each new day another treasure to be held tight.
Happiness sparkles like sunlight on a motionless sea, every moment…
Silent memories washed away grudges- so many footprints on a beach of glass.
An angel dressed as a mortal man descended from the heavens when the fires of hell burnt brightest ,
Words gentle as crickets ’song promised better things, a heart tattered like this one loved with all its power.
Days no longer lonely, nights no longer cold and empty as an abandoned castle
Forgiveness has come, a silent tornado destroying walls built of angry words, of hurtful blows…
The ruins are buried beneath years of trivial chit-chat and laughter that fills a mended soul never to be discovered again.
