As if to say:
I love you, and I am here.
Whenever you need me, I'll be near
Just give me a call, I'll lend you My ear.
And if you give Me the controls, I'll help you steer
To keep you from harm, I wish I could do
but even though I have My will, you have your own too.
And to be honest, you tend to wind up in trouble
And then beg Me to get you out
And of course I will, but You make me want to SHOUT!
Just let My will be yours, take the nutrients from the vine
For branches you are, and of My design.
Without the vine you shall perish
But with it you can keep the life you cherish
Of course it will change a little bit
Okay, a lot, well, most of it...
But it is for the better,
this I promise you
For with Me, the vine, your father
You will never thirst for the living water
Please, run to Me for I am near
And I hold you My child, so very dear
Trust in me and you will see
That I am here a vast sea
Of love for thee.

Excellent !
Kalyn, this is a great poem
It's been a while since I've read something of yours. I guess I haven't been here much either. Hope all is well with you
