Love knows no age, no time, no bounds
its pureness unassuming,
it bursts the bud of innocence
with power all consuming.
Naught can match its fragrant scent
as petals open fuller
to score impressions on the heart
when blooming to full colour.
With love so sudden and so sweet
as blood burns round your being,
one breath, one pulse, one heartbeat and
all inhibition fleeing
Laid bare the windows of the soul
love blossoms in the sighs
and there will all its pleasures prove
adrift in Paradise.
Love’s strength and beauty will unfold
with joy and hope transcending,
love knows no age, no time, no bounds
no thoughts of ever ending.
