This is me, this is the end, when I saw you with her I knew she had won, now the comfort and sorrow is breaking through, to see your picture with her in it too. The smile on your face is now a big grin, I’m happy for you that you did win. It’s a once in a lifetime trip to the world, the world where happily ever after is such a thing after all, when the broken bird lives after it has taken it’s fall. I’m glad that she completes you in every single way, I’m glad your happy now, what more could I say.
But I tell something that you’ll never know, I loved you so much to never let you go. I loved you so much that I cut out your heart, so that when you’d open it up, to give it to her, it wouldn’t be there for you to lose. I wrapped it in cloth, the best ever made, then I stuck in a box titled with my name. So there under my bed when I go to sleep, it’s there for ME to beat me a beat.
So this is the end, this is me NOW, and these are the things that will never be found.
1) Your heart
2) That girl
3) The knife
4) YOU and ME
This is the story and how it will end; if I can’t have you then I’ll go over the bridge. The box to my heart clutched tightly in my hands, and when she goes to find you in the morning, you’ll be dead.

I really love this poem. It's darkly written and has a very good rhythm. The words where choose perfectly and I love how it shows that she doesn't like to lose. Great Job Phoenix!!!

this is a very smart dark poem that is admirable and very well written! it is a pure pleasure to read and i imagine you felt good writing this piece of poetry because it shows in the feeling of this poem. the chaos of life touches us all i reckon.
