Diamonds and Gold

When will our love affair
with diamonds and gold end?
We are just going around,
over and over again.


The roots of all the money in
the world are connected with diamonds,
gold and pearls. In a world where
fake diamonds and gold look the
same, the real difference is in the
name.


If we didn't have this overdone
love affair, nobody would really
care? But when you attach money
to these things, now you're talking
about a different thing.


You're talking about rich, not poor.
You're talking about a economic break
down and world war. You're talking
about hurt and pain and maybe the end of
everything.


This love affair has taken its toll
and I would think it's really gotten old.
but as long as this love affair is real,
more people will die and more will
be killed.


It's clearly stupid or insane that
mankind is ruled by just two
things.To which peoplebend and bow,
It needs to stop and it needs
to stop now.
