when she cried, i comforted her...
"hush, my little fallen angel."
when she was afraid, i protected her...
"hush, my little fallen angel."
when she was down, i brought her back up...
"hush, my little fallen angel."
when she was furious, i calmed her...
"hush, my little fallen angel."
and when her wings were broken, i helped her to heal...
"hush, my little fallen angel."
everything was perfect for a little while...
and my fatal mistake:
i did not listen. all i said was hush.
and with her newly healed wings, she flew away...
n every once in a while, i sit down and cry...
n i think to myself, "why?"...
n then i think...n i now kno the answer...
all i did was say hush...i did not do what i wanted to do...i didnt express my true feelings...you see...i was saying hush, not to her...but to myself...n to this day, i regret saying hush...
