It is human nature to divide and oppose
Everyone believes they know what is so
The other guys are confused, but I’m ok
They’re totally insane. I know what I say
You must do it my way, you stupid fool
It’s the way of the world. Opposition is the rule
To every little thing I must disagree
My survival depends on it, don’t you see
Salvation is at stake, proving that I am right
For heaven’s sake I must stand up and fight
What am I saving? Why the ego, of course
For I am blind to my divine source
Divide and conquer, defend separation
For ego’s survival fight in desperation
…
We’ve all been fooled to defend the ego so
When true salvation is letting him go!
