you exist in a different place
a different plain of being
you hold the wonder of distant worlds,
of eyes the first time seeing
you bend my mind to your will
i bend my knee before you
yet, you kneel before me too
i love, yes i adore you
i reach to touch the lovely face
which haunts me night and day
yet as i reach the distance stretches
you're far, too far away
curse the fates
damn a god
who arranges things this way
sadistic jester
jealous fool
who never felt this way
shouted blasphemy
yet i'm still here
where is your curse of death?
your hollow threat
falls on deaf ears
i still exist. i still draw breath
curse the fates..
damn a god
who set us both apart
unholy trinity
grand manipulator
rejoice in these broken hearts.

A very interesting piece of writing with some nice word choices to control both tone and tempo. A powerful piece in my eyes because it reminds me of my own experiances with the same circumstances.
Good luck in the contest.

Tis a fool who thinks such a thing as geography keeps love apart. NO! Love transcends all barriers, climbs all mountains, swims all seas. Do not be fooled, my friend, into such frustration, for it is not born of love. Love is patient and will bear any challenge. For those who practice love properly nature itself will bend to accommodate. You must ask yourself, do I love enough to...

I can defiantely empathize with the feelings here... and I like the way it evolves... The distance growing angrier with each mile, the frustration growing. I am there myself, always proves a painful muse...

Beyond Beautiful....
It is still so beautiful, very real emotions in this, I feel it... This one touched me bitter sweet...

This too, was tragically beautiful. It's amazing how beautiful anger and sadness can be, and you show how so easily in everything you write.
