There she is, the maiden who fell
There she lies with the proof of her divinity torn from her
She is alive, but has lost the will to live
She feels, but wishes she was numb.
She lies there staring at the sky in aww and disbeleif
Her eyes overflowing with despair....and tears
The place she once called home, she cannot even see
She questions her maker, asks him "what did i do wrong?"
But to no avail, no "voice from the heavens" came, no signs were shown
There was only silence
Her once spotless body, now filled with scars
Her once dormant heart, now paces
The rush of feeling is to much for her
The maiden who fell, thus lies still
Cursing her fate.....as i watch
I watch, intrigued by her motionless actions
She cries and curses as the icy winter wind glides over her scars
And i wonder to myself; Is this his divine retribution?
is this how he rewards someone for serving him for eon's
Her devotion was unmatched and yet she fell before all of us
There I stood watching her
Watching the girl who had enough courage to think for herself
Watching the girl who was brave enogh to question "him"
Just watching, nd wishing that i had her courage
For I am but merely a watcher, there's nothing i can do
There I stood watching her
Wathcing the maiden woh fell from grace
wathcing the maiden who fell, but not on her own accord
Just watching.......
