The Valley

The cool soft air,
Was so fresh and clean.
And the natural valley,
Was so wide and green.
It almost took my breath,
The beauty of the scene.

I was cruisin that open road,
Delivering a trailer or two,
It wasn't that long ago.
I came across this valley,
Very near that ole Bear Lake,
Somewhere in southern Idaho.
