I beg you just to listen to me..
We don't have much time here.
I see the moonlight reflect off your brilliant brown eyes as you quietly stare at me for what seems like an eternity. All I want is your cooperation.
The meadow is a luscious green with a speck of blue, pink, and purple from patch, to patch. The dew drops glisten as the moon shines upon us, as if to put a spotlight on your flawless face that I adore entirely too much.
You continue to stare, and as I am almost lost in the depth of your eyes, you reply,
"I just can't, Sarah."
But I need you here. I need you to stay by my side. We can run off into the beautiful sunset that is starting to form, and never be bothered by anyone again. You complete me. Don't leave me now.
My mouth falls open as you gently lean in to give me one last kiss. My eyes shut and I am wrapped in your embrace. When will I feel this perfection again? When will I feel the lips that made me soar?
I am limp, as my heart begins to die, and you venture off into the sunset. Though, this is not what I pictured. Your hand is not in mine, and I am not moving. I will lay here until you return to me.
