Time Marches On

The Garden burned and destroyed,
Now replanted in clouds
Begin descending my angels,
No better time than now

For so many ages,
I've seen man become a bitter disgrace
Not loving my own,
I feel their existence becoming innate

Force my ways upon them
Never to be free again

And as time marches on,
They will see me right from wrong
I'm the protector they long
Man in hand as time marches on

Establish temples
Dedicated to my eternal glory
Promote Clergy
To reach unfaithful through my endless stories

Blind them with my light
And lead them into my bloody hands

And as time marches on,
They will see me right from wrong
I'm the protector they long
Man in hand as time marches on

Author notes

Here, god's obsession with enslaving all he believes he owns is put in words. This is where he becomes most power driven.

So...What do you think
